This is my private blog. It has startet as blog about the “commercial usage” of vitual worlds, but now the topics include everythings around web 2.0. I work for an insurance company and I am accountable for all acitivities on the internet. Web 2.0 in general and virtual worlds are currently no part of my job, but personally I am very interested about all this different technologies. The social aspects as well as the technical stuff.
If wikis, blogs, podcasts or virtual worlds, every of these tools – or many ogf them togehter – can be used easily for communication and collaboration. This will have a great impact on our society, in a positive or negative manner. If you want to get a clue about what’s possible today, you should read Wikinomics from Dan Tapscott and Anthony D. Williams.
